I needed to draw something that wasn’t chest hair, so I sketched this beautiful photo by humble shots
Well, anyway, that’s all for now. I think this leaves me with 250 things to do. Or 250 little excuses. Still not sure what to do about the #msaed book. Do I publish year 1 a year after the fact, or do I wrap in year 2 and make it about the project as a whole? Do I curate it? Or does everything go in?
I hope you know when I said I was good at drawing, I was joking. These are all freehand illustrations. My Sticky Notes… aren’t. I need to practice my freehand more.
I also finished anthologizing my high school webcomic, Construction Paper Angst, into three volumes, which is a project I’ve wanted to do since 2003.
I was able to go to New York in February for the WOLFPACK show, which was a direct result of #msaed year 1, and that was pretty awesome.
I started Chicago IRL this year and published two issues.
